I don’t see my construction/farm/crane/truck listed. Does mean its not covered? No. There are literally thousands of manufacturers of equipment, so it is not possible to list them all. It just means you have to navigate to the engine portion of the software to do your diagnostics.
Do I have a required annual fee each year? No, there are no required annual fee’s. The software will work forever and never expire. You will only receive updates & supportfor 1 year, and after that it is $350 per year. You can also go “late” with no penalty.
Do you have other cables available? Yes, we have all other cables available.
If I don’t need all the cables in the kit, is there a discount? Yes, there is! Please contact us so we can price it out accordingly for you.
Do I have to install/license/configure anything if I purchase this kit? No, everything is installed, licensed, configured and tested before it leaves our facility. You just need to unpack it from the box and start using it.
How often are there updates? Expect to see 3 to 5 major releases per year, plus there are small patches in between updates. We have started to put up a blog post on each update that explains what is new. You can view them here:
Please note the CF31 Laptop does not come with a CD/DVD Drive. The reason being, we have all trim files in our database so you will not need a CD to reprogram injectors. Also all vendors now have their software available for digital download, which in turn creates no need for a CD/DVD Drive. We have discounted our prices to account for the missing CD/DVD Drive in your laptop.
*Operating system is Windows 7 by default. We will try to accomodate special requests for Windows 10 Pro.
